TripAdvisor’s new ‘Instant Booking’ option is a risk-free way for travellers to connect with TripAdvisor’s hotel partners. Hotels pay to have a ‘book now’ button on their TripAdvisor pages, instantly generating business and collecting useful guest data from TripAdvisor’s user profiles.

According to TripAdvisor’s own research data, its site receives over 350 million unique monthly visitors from users in 47 countries worldwide. Through the Instant Booking partnership, Starwood gains access to this massive global audience of potential guests.

“We are excited about an enhanced relationship with TripAdvisor as it allows us to deepen our touch-points with TripAdvisor’s global community of travelers,” explains Julie Atkinson, vice president of Starwood, Inc.

She says Starwood pages will feature ‘book now’ buttons on sometime before July as the partnership details are settled.

Starwood owns and operates an impressive selection of hotel brands, including the St. Regis, the Luxury Collection, Westin, Le Meridien, Four Points by Sheraton, Element and more.

While the Instant Booking partnership means big changes for how Starwood’s guests will make their reservations—making the booking process much faster and easier for TripAdvisor users around the world—it doesn’t change how the guests are handled once they book their stays.

TripAdvisor users booking Starwood stays online will be provided with links and phone numbers to contact the hotel’s hospitality business management department directly if they have any questions or concerns.

“All support inquiries will be handled by Starwood’s award-winning customer care team,” says Atkinson.
