Canadian Tourism College (Vancouver) is Expanding!

We are thrilled to announce that Canadian Tourism College Vancouver will be moving to a new and improved campus this Fall 2017! Construction is currently well under way and will be nearing completion over the coming weeks. The new campus occupies the entire second floor of 1111 Melville Street in downtown Vancouver, and is just a short walk from the Burrard Skytrain station. This new campus is a testament to increasing world-wide demand in the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries. With over 34 years’ experience supplying the very best graduates to industry, companies small and large continue to rely on Canadian Tourism College for talent. With newly expanded facilities, the college will be better able to meet that demand.

New Vancouver Campus Floorplan

The close to 12,000 square foot campus will have twice as many classrooms as the Canadian Tourism College’s current location and is nearly three times as large. The new campus will have improved WiFi, student meeting rooms, larger class rooms, and plenty of natural light. A new student lounge/café will also serve as a meeting area for assemblies and industry presentations. Canadian Tourism College will occupy the entire second floor, which will include faculty offices, an airline cabin simulation room, and a café. Outside the building, there are hundreds of options for coffee, food, and shopping within a three block radius. Students will also have access to a large outdoor patio on the ground floor.

Canadian Tourism College (CTC) has been in operation since 1980, which makes it the longest-running private tourism college in Canada. Alumni of CTC are enjoying careers traveling the world as flight attendants, sailing around the world on cruise ships, working in resort management positions, and having outdoor adventures in exciting tour guide positions. The college will continue to offer the same in-demand college diplomas and certificates for Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Adventure Tourism, and Flight Attendant programs, with pathways to university Bachelor degree programs.

We will be holding a grand opening event where current and future students can learn more about what this new campus has to offer. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting development!
