Students and instructor on whale watching tour

CTC News Update Week of September 25-29

There is never a dull week at CTC! Tomorrow we welcome our first Fall intake of flight attendant students at both the Vancouver and Surrey campuses. We wish them all the best as they begin their studies and exciting journey to becoming flight attendants! Speaking of flight attendants, we are proud to share that one of our flight attendant alumni, Laura, was recently hired by Sunwing Airlines and will commence training for the company in early November. Congratulations Laura!

Last week, our travel & tourism students went on an exciting field trip with Vancouver Whale Watch and had the opportunity to see bald eagles, vultures, sea lions, humpback whales and orca whales. Thank you to our student Lyon Yu as well as our instructor Gwynne for these awesome photographs of the outing. What an exciting lesson in tour guiding and ecotourism!
