I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend CTC to anyone that is interested in the travel and tourism industry. They are the most well-known college in the area with amazing staff working for them. They will support you throughout your journey and even far after you’ve graduated. If you’re having second thoughts or doubting that you should take a program with CTC and have friends that have a current job that haven’t gone to CTC, I would and will always say to take the CTC course as it will make you stand out and it will give you a better understanding of the type of field that you are interested in getting into. I look forward to seeing you on the Alumni wall one day and hearing all about your success story from attending CTC!
Oh – I almost forgot! The best part of training is being able to jump down the emergency slide, and of course the best moment is receiving your flight attendant wings! You will always look back on your initial training and remember all the fun memories and all the friends you’ve made. During the CTC program there is a project that you must do, which is a PowerPoint presentation of an airline, and you have to dress up like the flight attendant for it. I chose Air Canada Rouge and the destination as Honolulu, Hawaii on a Boeing 767. At that time, it was just a dream, and now that dream has become a reality! It is all thanks to the wonderful staff at CTC who always supported me even when I failed a test or made mistakes, who were there for me even if it was just to go to Starbucks with me for an hour to get some coffee and sit down and talk about life. As the famous Miss Frizzle would say “Take Chances, Make Mistakes, Get Messy!”. The chance that I took was to attend CTC, which resulted in me becoming successfully hired with Sunwing Airlines, earning both my Canadian Cabin Crew License and my European License, to now being a flight attendant with Air Canada Rouge. My career has taken off and I’ve met so many wonderful people and seen and gone to so many places that I never thought I would be able to go to.
