It’s definitely about time we shared the latest news from CTC! Read on to find out what’s been going on at Canadian Tourism College this Spring.
On a sunny Wednesday in May, we held yet another successful graduation ceremony in Vancouver. This time around our guest speaker was Franklin Jackson, General Manager of the Civic Hotel. He offered not only wise words, but also a couple of surprises for students who were willing to stand up and put themselves out there. This seemed to be the theme of the night, as Feroz Ali, CEO of Asia Pacific Education, also made it a point to discuss how important it is to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Finally, our valedictorian for this ceremony was Therese Lombos, graduate of the Travel & Tourism Business Management Co-op Diploma. She gave her fellow graduates a strong and inspiring speech to get them in the right mind frame to walk across the stage with pride.
