Students dressed up for halloween

Student Blog: Looking back at October in the Travel & Tourism Program by Eden King

Hello everyone! I am halfway through my first year! Time flies by so fast. I want the school year to end and I am ready to graduate but at the same time I don’t think I’m quite ready to make CTC a part of my past. I don’t know if I am ready to be an alumni yet. I have made so many great memories here and I don’t want them to end.

I remember when I first started this school, so excited and so eager and ready to learn. I had so much drive and was determined to be the best student I could be. 6 months later and guess what, I am still that student. Nothing has changed for me. I am still the same student with the same drive and tenacity.

October has been a very fruitful month for us students in the Travel and Tourism class and in CTC in general. This month we had a little field trip in class where we took a small tour of Vancouver visiting Stanley Park, Prospect Point, the Museum of Anthropology, and had lunch on Granville Island. It really was amazing and our Tour Guide was incredible.

Halloween at CTC

On Halloween the whole school got to dress up in our best costumes and enjoy a lovely potluck at the end of the day. The food was delicious, the vibe was so positive, and the whole event was incredibly enjoyable. I personally think my class was the best dressed because we were super cute, but everyone looked great.
